The backrest is made from molded plywood – thin layers of wood veneer glued together under heat and pressure, then shaped into a gentle curve. This curved plywood follows the natural contour of the human spine, providing firm lumbar support without the need for thick padding. The seat features a different internal structure. A core of precision cut shaped foam sits on top of a plywood base, then is fully wrapped with fabric or leather upholstery (customer’s choice). The foam is formulated to offer a balance between softness and rebound – it compresses just enough to relieve pressure points but returns to its original shape quickly after each use. The outer cover, whether fabric or leather, is fitted and stitched for a smooth appearance. Fabric options are breathable and available in many colors; leather (typically skin-touch PU leather or genuine) provides a premium feel and easier spill resistance.

The leg frame is crafted from solid ash wood, available in natural or black finish. Ash wood is known for its high density, shock resistance, and attractive open grain. The natural finish preserves the wood’s warm, organic character, while the black painted version suits modern, minimalist interiors. Seat cushion is attached to the chair’s under-frame with concealed metal brackets, ensuring a wobble free connection. Rubber glides on the feet protect floors and reduce noise when chairs are re-positioned.
